Lets Keep It A Buck…

Black women are THE original influencers. We are trendsetters and move-makers, and we’re opening businesses at a higher rate than any other demographic. We are the culture. But we are too busy taking care of families, and being a shoulder to cry on that many of us have little left to motivate ourselves. And taking risks? Forget about it!

We’re out here holding it down for everyone else but oftentimes lack the support to flourish in our personal lives.  And I’m not just talking mainstream support, but roadblocks within our own networks and sister circles. As we learn and grow, sometimes it can be difficult to discuss all your newfound curiosity with your friends, not because they don’t care, but sometimes they just don’t get it.  And TBH, some of us don’t even have that friend circle to reach out to.

So who can you turn to when you’re ready to risk it all?

That job (or man) that you’re sick & tired of. That class you want to invest in on the healing properties of crystals. Those boundaries you need help setting. Who do you talk to, to help you navigate outside your comfort zone? Word on the streets is, many of us are seeking accountability groups and/or mentors to help us make our way through this new & (mostly) exciting stage in our lives.

When you’re looking for this kind of support, how do you find your folks? At a time when reality TV has convinced many of us that all we do is talk trash and throw drinks across tables, I want to remind you that we are smart, powerful, and ambitious. We are mothers, wives, sisters, friends, employees, and the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in America.  We are the ultimate hustlers. We can do whatever we set our minds to, and The Energy Exchange is here to help you do all the things.
